What is Foodbank?

Foodbank is a charity run by the Trussel Trust and is there to support families and individuals in short term need. Clients are referred to the foodbank by care professionals, such as doctors, health visitors and social workers, who will give them a Foodbank Voucher.  Volunteers meet clients over a cup of tea or a free hot meal and can signpost them to other agencies which can provide long term help and support.

How Can I Help?
